Serephinium & Sterling Silver Ring

This ring is a beautiful example of unique stones used within Southwest jewelry design. The focal cabochon is Seraphinite, a stone named after its resemblance of angel feathers due to its chatoyancy of the magic in the changing colors. The beauty is in the motion created by the colors. With some specimens the resemblance is quite strong, with shorter down-like feathery growths leading into longer "flight feathers". Seraphinite is mined in a limited area of eastern Siberia in Russia. The solid silver shank band has been polished and rounded for maximum comfort. Made with care and the highest quality materials in my home studio where I have been making jewelry for over fifty years. Each ring is hand made and one of kind, so like any piece of art, please allow for slight variation between sizes. I hand stamp my hallmark Jack Rabbit and sign the interior of each ring with my name, the name of the Paiute Tribe, and the word "handmade".
