El Capitan Silver & Turquoise Dangle Earrings

These teardrop shaped earrings feature a hand cut silhouette of El Capitan with a stamped bear and moon. I carefully add natural turquoise nugget beads to each sterling silver French hook to finish off each pair. El Capitan, also known as El Cap, is a vertical rock formation in Yosemite National Park, located on the north side of Yosemite Valley, near its western end. The granite monolith is about 3,000 feet (914 m) from base to summit along its tallest face, and is a popular objective for rock climbers. Made with care and the highest quality materials in my home studio where I have been making jewelry for over fifty years. Each piece of jewelry is hand made and one of kind, so like any piece of art, please allow for slight variation between design and the turquoise beads. I hand stamp and sign the back of each piece with my name, a bear stamp, and the word "handmade". NOTE: You may not receive the exact earrings in the photos.
